Day 29 - 9th August 2001
Arrived back in UK. Spent all day ystday doing TV & press interviews in Cuiaba, check press release on website for why. Brazilian GMTV was gr8. lst msg 2moro DX

Day 28 - 8th August 2001
arrivd Cuiaba to meet Govenor & do packed pres conf. On TV 2night, 1/2 hr GMTV slot live 2moro. *DX

Day 26 - 6th August 2001
Sim back safely, jeep stuck in swamp. Arrved back base camp to heroes welcme. Will go to Cuiaba 2day 2 meet press & gov. More l8R DX

Day 25 - 5th August 2001
Sim missing ! Went off 4 5 mins in jeep & not returned 8 hrs l8r. Stuck & worried. DX

Day 24 - 4th August 2001
Met some fisherman & decided to hitch a lift back to base camp. Should be back 2night expedition completed. :) DX

Day 23 - 3rd August 2001
Hitched a lift upriver today. Stopped at a farmstead. Farmer told us of 30ft anaconda and said we should move - too dangerous. Camped further upstream. DX

Day 21 - 1st August 2001
No longer alone, in mddle of jngle the press hve trcked us down & we R now giving interviews and posing for pics. Wan2capic C website. DX

Day 20 - 31st July 2001
Arrvd in Anaconda cntry, mst be wary. Today we go to search for the big 1. Send us a reply with a guess how long u think the biggest snake will be. DX

Big scare lst nght, tapir invaded camp, big but hrmlss. Frosty mting with drug rners, outnumbrd, outguned, we got past quick. DX

Day 17 - 28th July 2001
Fish supper at lst. Dj & me netted five biggins and Badu cooked em up. Got very cold (ceruzo), but relief from heat and bites. Any news on footy transfers ? DX

Day 16 - 27th July 2001
Being watched ! Lrge Jaguar following us footprints around camp. Electric eel and sting wrays in river. Fires in distance, Indians or gold miners? scary! DX

Day 15 - 26th July 2001
Had a visitor in the camp last night. World's lgst RAT the capybara, as big as a sheep. Making progress up river, 10 rapids today. Went to Bolivia 10 times. DX

Day 14 - 25th July 2001
At lst we reach the Rio Verde. A gr8 way to C the jngle. Multi colored birds, otters & a river full of fish. Ants ate our tent ! :) DX

Day 12 - 23rd July 2001
Thnks for help. Got down this morning thru caves. Dark & bats like pterodactyls. Resting in canyon, will build canoe and start on river 2moro. Pics on website. DX

Hello, nice to be back, lst 2 days have been beastly. 2day we finally made the Jabaru falls. Beautiful ! We are exausted & only made 6 miles in 2 days DX

Finlly off. All in gd spirits. So far, seen Parrots, mkeys, owls n hawks. DJ slipped off edj of cliff but savd by tree. Cmpng on edj of 200ft waterfall. L8r DX
